Studio Make Over - New Magazine Holders

If you like crafting, like me you proberbly have magazines and bits of paper everywhere.

Well after seeing all these lovely examples of how to decorate magazine files, I thought I would give it a go.

I had already purchased these from Ikea a couple of weeks ago when I was buying some fabric.

I had some 12" x 12" decorative paper thats been hanging around my studio needing to be used, so with a bit of glue I ended up with these.......

Not perfect but they only took 15 minutes to complete and they definetly brighten the place up.

Lucky me, to have my own room dedicated to my craft and jewellery projects.......

Only problem is, it's a mess. Evidenence A & B below.

Not only do I have a lot of stuff, but I'm also an extremely messy person and I'm always leaving a project halfway through to start another. Hands up who guilty of this too?

So the plan is to reorganise, I have another desk and an office cupboard purchased very cheaply off an auction site, three guesses which one?

I want to make my Studio into a bright, colourful and creative room, so I'll scourer the web looking for ideas and inspiration to transform my space.

Folksy Friday - Feeling the Chill

The Launch of Made by Woo

Well not a huge launch but I have now listed a whole two items, yes two items in my Folksy store.

Little Loops Stud Earrings in Sterling Silver

Tiny Square Stud Earrings in Sterling Silver

I love the design of these (if I do say do myself) as they coordinate with most outfits and are suitable for all occasions, from a Job interview to lunch with friends.

 

 

Made completley by hand each earring is carefully shapped and soldered before being filed and polished to a high sheen.

 

The loops measure 1.5mm across and the Square studs measure 0.5mm across.

Business Branding

I'm soooo excited ... and I just can't hide it....

At the moment these lyrics are repeating themselves within my head because, yes you've guessed it .... I'm so excited. Want to know why? Well just look at my lovely banner!!!

I've been working hard the last few weeks planning my new Jewellery Business and I'm now coming close to the launch of ....

 

With a lot of thanks to Jeanette over at J.Designs Handmade on Etsy, I now have my branding complete. She has created this gorgeous banner for me along with my new profile picture and a matching Facebook cover picture for my Made by Woo page.

I'm also eagerly awaiting my new business card design and also mailing labels and return address labels to complete the whole package.

 

Made by Woo finally has an identity

 

To complete the look my jewellery packaging will be White kraft boxes with a Ribbon tied around it, nice and simple like my jewellery and ready to give as a gift.
